JOYCE DE WITT

Joyce De Witt, whilst perhaps most widely known to American audiences for her role as “Janet” in ABC’s television hit series Three’s Company also has an extensive theatre background. Multitalented, Joyce is comfortable playing a variety of parts and has previously shown not only her considerable and versatile dramatic ability but her great singing voice.

Stage
Joyce has appeared in many stage productions such as Chapter Two, Sweet Charity, Damn Yankees, The Crucible, A Hatful of Rain, The Mikado, Li’l Abner, South Pacific, Peter Pan, Brigadoon, MacBeth, The Tempest, The Impossible Years, Dracula: An Original Rock Musical. Dinner with Friends, Alfred Uhry’s Tony Award-winning play The Last Night of Ballyhoo, the British farce Noises Off and the revival of Cole Porter’s Anything Goes in the USA. In October 2005, Joyce appeared in Gypsy playing the role of “Mama Rose” in Pennsylvania.

Television and Films
Television credits include singing and dancing in tv specials such as The Cheryl Ladd Special: Souvenirs, Perry Como’s Christmas Special and Night of 100 Stars; tv shows such as The Loveboat, The Osmonds, Cybill and Hope Island and tv movies such as Spring Fling and With This Ring.

Joyce has hosted the International Awards Ceremony at the White House for the Presidential End Hunger Awards and co-hosted, with Jeff Bridges, the World Food Day Gala at the Kennedy Center.

Joyce received a Master in Fine Art in Acting from the University of California, Los Angeles.
