Erin Morans first major acting part was
playing Jenny Jones in the hit tv series, Daktari. This was
quickly followed by parts in films and on tv before she was
cast, at the age of 12, in the part of Joanie
in Happy Days which resulted in her own spin-off show, Joanie
Loves Chachi, in which she starred with Scott Baio. Erin has
developed into a very accomplished actress and is comfortable
playing a wide variety of roles, including those which give
her the opportunity to express her love, and talent, of singing.
Films and Television
Erin has appeared in both comedy/drama and sci-fi films including
Twirl with Stella Stevens and Charlie Haid and Galaxy of Terror
with Robert Englund, Eddie Albert Jr and Sid Haig as well
as guest-starring in many top tv shows such as Gunsmoke, Hotel,
The Loveboat, Family Affair, The Waltons, Diagnosis Murder,
G vs E, Murder, She Wrote and many more.
Theatre
Since her theatre debut in Lost in Yonkers where she played
the part of Bella, Erin has since performed in various productions
such as Theyre Playing Our Song, The Vagina Monologues
and Vanities.
Other work
Erins friendly and bubbly personality means she has
been much in demand for guest appearances on celebrity shows
such as Hollywood Squares and Pyramid.
Awards
Erin Moran also won the Best Young Actress in a New Television
Series for her portrayal of Joanie in Joanie Loves Chachi
in 1983.
